What's it like working with Andrea Bassett?

You want to hire an executive ghostwriter who can write. I can do that.

But you also want to hire someone you enjoy working with. You may wonder, ‘Would working with Andrea Bassett be good?’  The easiest way to answer this question is by picking up the phone and having a quick chat with me.

But maybe you need a bit more information before dialing those digits. Keep reading.

Get comfortable

Working with me is easy and comfortable.  Not what you’d want in a white-water rafting adventure but pretty good for a professional relationship. I’m easy to talk to and that helps me get the information I need to write for my clients. I ask questions, give people the benefit of the doubt and hardly ever jump to conclusions. I like working with people I like and I find it easy to see likeable traits in most people.  I also know who to steer clear of—I may be nice but I’m not naïve.

Have a laugh

One banana peel away from hilarity

When you get to know me, you’ll notice I’ve got a good sense of humour. It doesn’t come out right away but once we’ve made a connection, you’ll see it. Though I prefer good-natured humour—the kind Ellen DeGeneres excels at—I will always laugh at a falling-down-the-stairs gag, even when I see it coming a mile away. Being around me isn’t a non-stop laugh riot though. I know when to be hilarious and when to put a lid on it.  If we’re at a business conference, a funeral or any sort of swearing-in ceremony, I will never fall down the stairs for laughs.

Get good service

The other thing you may appreciate is my service philosophy. I like to make it easy for people to use my work. If you send me something to edit in the body of an email, I won’t edit it in the email. I’ll put it in a Word document with a relevant title and track changes so you can see what I’ve done.  I enjoy making it easier for other people to get their work done.  Mostly I do this by writing and editing but I’ve also lugged around audio-video equipment, fetched water and stacked chairs in the name of service.

So there you have it, folks! When you work with me, you’ll be comfortable, you’ll have a few laughs and you’ll get good service.

Now that you know me better, give me a call so I can get to know you better.  The executive ghostwriter hotline is 647-502-3187.
